Interview: What works on scale up boards?

Managing Partner Toby Young caught up with Katy Tuncer, Head of Innovation at Horizon37 to discuss board dynamics, ahead of our recent Leadership Dinner focusing on this topic. Drawing on Horizon37's research Villains v value, Katy shared what makes for a successful scale up board and, in particular, the one critical unlock that enables a board to add value.  

Individual board members are committed to bringing value, but how do they do that? Here, Katy discusses the behavioural styles that individuals bring to the board, and how an understanding of the 6 different behavioural archetypes, and they way in which they interact with one another, can unlock the most value.
