Hiring, retaining & motivating a team
Date: 6 May 2020
Hiring, retaining and motivating a team remains a key challenge for CFOs of growth businesses in 2020. To help address this, Bailey Fisher is pleased to partner with HSBC & KPMG to host a business breakfast for CFOs/FDs to share insight with their peers and benefit from the experience of our guest speakers:
Beverly Dixon, Group HR Director at G’s, one of Europe’s leading fresh produce companies, supplying customers across the UK, Europe and the US. Earlier in her career Beverly was Head of HR at Marks & Spencer for 12 years.
Phil Morris, Group CFO at Servest UK from 2009-2018, during which time he grew annual revenues from c£30m to £600m and led a large and dynamic finance team.
Gareth John, Founder of First Intuition; President of the ICAEW in East Anglia; member of the ICAEW National Skills Taskforce and a Governor of Cambridgeshire Skills. Gareth has a great deal of insight into the direction of the accountancy profession and related qualifications, the evolution in skills required in finance functions and the impact this has on the recruitment and training of student accountants.
The event will be chaired by Andrew Moore, Managing Director of Bailey Fisher. Andrew has 20+ years’ experience building boards and leadership teams for growth businesses, including 7 years running all global CFO/FD searches at Bailey Fisher.
