Finance Practice: FD & CFO Executive Search
Bailey Fisher’s Finance Practice specialises in FD and CFO executive search, identifying FDs and CFOs with a blend of operational experience and strategic focus for delivering growth and enhancing shareholder value.
Many have experience in Fundraising, M&A and public markets and have a proven track record operating alongside both founder-led and more experienced management teams.
We work in partnership with a range of businesses across all sectors, from VC backed start ups requiring a first full-time FD or CFO, through to private and publicly owned SMEs ranging in size from £2m – £200m hiring talent to fuel growth.
The CFO Practice is led by Andrew Moore, Managing Director. Andrew has extensive experience of FD & CFO executive search assignments. Having spent 20 years in executive search, focusing on senior finance appointments, Andrew has a large network of senior finance professionals throughout the UK, covering still sets required to work in businesses at every stage. Andrew is experienced at working across different ownership structures, enabling him to quickly understand, and work effectively with, his clients.
Working closely with Andrew is Danielle Grant, who joined Bailey Fisher as a Director in 2018 to grow this area of the business. Danielle has 7 years’ experience in senior finance appointments for a diverse range of clients from SMEs to listed businesses. Prior to joining Bailey Fisher, Danielle managed the senior finance practice in Cambridge for a FTSE 250 specialist recruitment company, operating across the Eastern region on senior finance roles for clients in the private and public sectors, from SMEs to multi-nationals. She was previously based in Reading, with a remit across the Thames Valley area.
Andrew and Danielle host Bailey Fisher’s series of CFO Dinners focusing on knowledge sharing and thought leadership for CFOs from VC backed businesses to listed companies. These quarterly events offer CFOs the opportunity to meet with their peers to discuss issues of relevance to their role. Recent guest speakers have included Bill O’Neill, Head of Investment Office UK for UBS Wealth Management; Chris Mayo, Consultant Primary Markets at London Stock Exchange and Greg Blin, Investment Manager for Mobeus Equity Partners. Discussion topics have ranged from Life after flotation; Building a team to attract private equity and Potential impact of Brexit to The role of human capital in a high-growth business and Attracting & retaining executive level talent.
