Bailey Fisher is pleased to have worked with CW (Cambridge Wireless), the technology membership organisation on the appointment of Simon Mead, who will take over on 1 November, following the exit of current CEO, Bob Driver, who announced his departure earlier this year.
Simon currently manages the Incubation Centre at the University of Essex and has previously worked as CEO of the Eastern Enterprise Hub, delivering mentor-supported networking programmes to support SMEs and social enterprises. Through a career that has ranged from traditional media (Thames TV) to Cambridge start-up success (E*Trade UK), he is experienced in supporting organisations achieve their growth goals.

This is the second CEO search that Bailey Fisher has managed for CW, having previously led the search which resulted in Bob Driver’s appointment in 2015. During Bob’s 3 year tenure, CW’s turnover has increased by 60% and the organisation has won several major contracts that complement the activity of its 19 Special Interest Groups. Bob will continue as a Director on the CW Board and as the lead for CW’s UK5G.❰ Back
