Brent Hudson

BHR Group is an independent technology organisation providing engineering consultancy, industrial research and product development services based on its core expertise in fluids engineering. BHR Group develops innovative designs, processes and products for customers across many industrial sectors around the world.

Now a privately owned company, BHR Group grew out of the BHRA (British Hydromechanics Research Association), one of the founding Research Associations established by the UK government in the 1940s.  The company’s vision is to be the global leader in fluid engineering research and consultancy in its targeted markets.

Bailey Fisher Executive Search was engaged to manage the search for BHR Group, resulting in the successful appointment of Brent Hudson. Brent brings extensive international experience at board level, most recently as CEO of Sagentia Group plc.

 

 

 

Kenny Lang

Bailey Fisher Executive Search was pleased to support Norwich Research Park with the search for a Business Development & Enterprise Support Director, resulting in the successful appointment of Kenny Lang.

Norwich Research Park is a business community of research organisations with world-leading science credentials and over forty science and technology based businesses.

Norwich Research Park is a partnership between the University of East Anglia, the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, four independent world-renowned research institutes namely the John Innes Centre, Institute of Food Research and The Genome Analysis Centre and The Sainsbury Laboratory linked to the Gatsby Charitable Foundation.

Bailey Fisher was engaged by Norwich Research Park to manage the search for a Business Development & Enterprise Support Director to work closely with all groups involved in research, technology transfer and business development on the Park, build strategic relationships with and between these organisations and  target organisations both nationally and internationally.

The successful candidate, Kenny Lang, has many years’ experience in science commercialisation, creating economic growth & working with start ups, SMEs, universities and governments, including leadership team roles at the Centre of Excellence for the Life Sciences & Babraham Bioscience Technologies.

 

Bailey Fisher Executive Search was pleased to partner with Leuven Inc, a network of high-tech innovative entrepreneurs, companies and researchers based in Flanders, to present ‘Joining forces in regenerative medicine: bringing implants and medicines to life’.  The event was one of a series of visionary seminars taking place in Cambridge, London and Leuven, with the aim of strengthening ties across Europe, between business and academia and B2B. The seminars focused on the fast evolutions in biotech, nanotech, materials and health related domains and welcomed expert speakers from Cambridge and Leuven.
