William has known Bailey Fisher since the company was founded and was one of its first clients.
Having been educated at Cambridge University and qualified as a chartered accountant with Price Waterhouse, William worked in the leisure industry and the private equity industry in London.
William broke his back in the mid-nineties in a racing accident and relocated to Suffolk. In 1997 he joined N W Brown & Co, initially working in corporate finance before becoming a Co-founder of The Cambridge Gateway Fund, an early stage technology fund.
In 2005, William left The Cambridge Gateway Fund, and for the last ten years he has designed, raised and managed niche alternative tax efficient investments, in bloodstock, racing, jewellery and fine wine.
William is a Trustee of the Sir Jules Thorn Charitable Trust and The Wavertree Trust; a Director of Newmarket Racecourse and a member of the Jockey Club.
William has lived in the Eastern region all his life.
