Growing Global: market expansion in China - 07/06/17❰ Back
Bailey Fisher Executive Search is delighted to be welcoming Jane Cooke and Ting Zhang, experts on market expansion into China to speak at our Women 4 Technology event in London Tech Week.
Jane Cooke was a key member of the leadership team that grew Abcam from a Cambridge University spin out to a team of over 1,000 across the UK, USA & Asia; and led a major cultural change process as site head of the company’s new facility in China during 2016. Since stepping down from Abcam after 11 years, Jane has set up Jiăn People Consultancy, drawing on her experience at the sharp end of rapid international growth to advise and support UK based companies with overseas offices, and non-UK companies working in the UK for the first time, on evolving culture, establishing the right organisational structure and creative HR strategies.
Ting Zhang has 20+ years experience of international business and China trade & investment. As Founder & CEO of China Business Solutions, Ting Zhang advises clients on a wide range of China business issues, including market entry, due diligence, outsourcing and partnering, technology transfer and licensing, as well Chinese culture and business practices. In addition, Ting is actively involved in connecting European technologies with investors from China through M&A and technology partnership. In pursuit of providing British SMEs with more affordable and efficient ways of doing business with China, Ting recently co-founded Crayfish, a software platform providing a one-stop-shop to connect businesses with independent bilingual speakers and professionals with Chinese knowledge to manage specific projects across a wide range of sectors.
The China market presents unique challenges for companies looking to enter the market and to sustain and grown their business there. Jane and Ting will share their knowledge and insight at Growing Global, Bailey Fisher’s Women 4 Technology event for London Tech Week. Taking place on Thursday 15 June at Frog Capital in King’s Cross, the event also covers expansion into the US and South American markets with speakers from Microsoft and Darktrace, the world’s leading machine learning company for cyber security. We would like to hear from Founders, CEOs, CXOs, Chair/NEDs and VPs in technology, biotechnology and digital health interested in receiving an invitation to this event. Please contact Kerry Linsey at Bailey Fisher Executive Search.
The event will include plenty of opportunity to exchange ideas and contacts with a peer group, over drinks and food from the international pop up food stalls.❰ Back
