Bailey Fisher welcomes new key team members - 22/10/14

Bailey Fisher Executive Search is delighted to welcome three new members to the team to drive the next stage of growth. James Houlder joins from HP/Autonomy to head up Research, Claire Button PhD joins as Associate, leading the new dedicated Life Sciences & Healthcare practice and Cameron Sondhi joins as Researcher.

James Houlder brings extensive experience as an in-house recruiter for large corporates, across a variety of technical sectors, including Pharmaceuticals at MedImmune; Biotech at Illumina and Software at Autonomy and HP.  James has worked on a broad spread of senior roles covering both technical and corporate functions, ranging from Senior Research Scientists, Senior Software Developers, Chief Technologists and Senior Engagement Partners on the technical side, to senior marketing, finance and legal professionals.

James has a BA in Ancient History from the University of Nottingham.

Claire Button heads up the new dedicated Life Sciences & Healthcare practice, building on Bailey Fisher’s successful track record in this sector, assisting companies such as Horizon Discovery, To Health, Eagle Genomics & Cambridge Cognition with key senior hires.  Claire works closely with a broad base of clients from early stage VC funded companies through privately owned SMEs to large corporates.  Current mandates include Senior Business Development Director for Charles River, Business Development Director for early-stage biotech company Axol, Commercial Director for AIM listed OptiBiotix and Business Development and Enterprise Director for world-leading Norwich Research Park.

Claire has a background in executive search in Life Sciences and holds a BSc in Medical Biochemistry and a PhD in Immunopharmacology.

Cameron Sondhi joins Bailey Fisher as Researcher to support the team with in-depth research across a broad range of technologies and markets. Cameron brings prior experience in recruitment and a degree in Business & Management from the University of Lincoln.
