Bailey Fisher Executive Search has supported Action For Children for the past three years, raising nearly £30,000 as a business to date. Andrew Moore co-chairs the East Anglian fundraising events. This year we are changing venue, and will be sleeping out in the beautiful Botanic Gardens in Cambridge to help raise awareness about the issues faced by the 83,000 homeless young people in the UK, and to raise sponsorship money to help these young people within the Eastern region.

Action for Children (formerly National Children’s Home) is a UK children’s charity committed to helping vulnerable and neglected children and young people, and their families, throughout the UK.

Through 650 projects and services based around the UK, the charity works with over 390,000 children, young people, and their families. It helps and supports people in areas as diverse as disability respite therapy, foster care, adoption and child neglect.

Byte Night is Action for Children’s flagship fundraiser that aims to raise money to support those young people that find themselves without a roof over their head. Through Byte Night, Action for Children looks to prevent youth homelessness across the UK and give young people the future they deserve.

Byte Night is the UK’s largest sleep out event which takes place on Friday 6th October this year.  Bailey Fisher will be joining over 100  fellow sleepers at Byte Night East Anglia to sleep out for one night in the Botanic Gardens in Cambridge. The event will offer an opportunity to raise awareness about the issues these young people face and to raise sponsorship money to be used within the Eastern region.

This year teams have already signed up from many other businesses in the region, including KPMG, HSBC, TWI, Deloitte & EY.
