❰ Back

Following the success of Bailey Fisher’s 2014 charity ball which raised over £14,000 for the Arthur Rank Hospice, we are very pleased to be have been asked to host a second event this year, at Paddock’s House on 19 June.

All profits from the Ball will go to the Arthur Rank Hospice Charity, to support the provision of a new hospice to embody one overriding objective – to continue to be a Centre of Excellence in the provision of patient-led ‘specialist palliative care.’ All profits raised will go specifically towards the family room at the new hospice in Cambridge.  The black tie evening will start with a summer drinks reception at 7:00pm, followed by a three course dinner, live entertainment and an auction with prizes ‘that money cannot buy’ including:

  • Tour of Wimbledon and centre court changing rooms followed by afternoon tea with Nick Brown, former Wimbledon player
  • Use of a Maserati for a weekend, thanks to Marshall Maserati, Peterborough
  • Shooting lesson at Long Acre Shooting School followed by supper for 2 at the Three Blackbirds, Woodditton, plus a game box from Wombwell Farms
  • Private Tour of the Fitzwilliam Museum followed by afternoon tea
  • Weekend at The Crown, Wells
  • Short course at Sotheby’s Art Institute
  • Tour of the House of Lords and afternoon tea with Lord Baker
  • 4 course dinner for 8 at Churchill College, Cambridge
  • Nordic walk and lunch at the Packhorse Inn, Moulton

We would like to thank everyone who has donated prizes for the auction, as well as for the evening’s raffle.
