Bailey Fisher Executive Search is delighted to have raised over £8,000 for Action for Children at a recent charity golf day at Hunstanton Golf Course.

76 players participated in the event, which took place on 13 July.  The course at Hunstanton was in incredible condition, and the weather was very favourable, which made for some super scoring. Twelve players scored 36 points or more, with Coutts’ player Paul Smith coming out on top with a fantastic 43 points playing off a handicap of 12.

Team scoring was equally impressive with three teams separated by just a single point. 93 points was just enough for the Coutts team of Barry Arbon, Damien Goldsack, Daniel Smith and Paul Smith to claim a well-deserved victory.

The principal reason for the event was to raise funds for Action for Children.  Andrew Moore, Finance & Operations Partner at Bailey Fisher is co-chair of the charity, alongside Charles Meakin of KPMG.  Thanks to the participation of 19 teams and the generosity of the individual players on the day, the event raised a total of £8,221.38. This will go a long way towards the annual target of £120,000 across the Anglia region.

Action for Children is a charity working to ensure that every child and young person has the love, support and opportunity to reach their full potential.

We would like to thank Hunstanton Golf Club and the companies that donated prizes for the Golf Day – Bailey Fisher, UBS, FootJoy, HSBC, KPMG and PING.

Andrew Moore will be part of the Bailey Fisher team sleeping out at Byte Night on 7 October, to raise additional funds for Action for Children.
