Bailey Fisher Executive Search is pleased to have assisted Oxford Photovoltaics with the search for an IP Attorney, resulting in the appointment of Alan Chapman.
Oxford Photovoltaics is a spin-out from the University of Oxford which has exclusively licensed the rapidly growing portfolio of Intellectual Property developed by Professor Henry Snaith and his academic team of 20 scientists. Professor Snaith is leading an intensive and wide-ranging programme of research which is aimed at creating individual solar cells which are highly efficient and robust enough to have a lifetime of over 20 years. This research programme provides the building blocks for the Company’s product roadmap. Currently, the solar cell development programme is advancing rapidly with lab cell efficiency of more than 15%, with identified enhancements which should deliver close to 20% efficiency within the next 12 months.
The successful candidate, Alan Chapman is a UK and European qualified IP Attorney with 9 years’ professional experience in private practice and the defence industry.
