Bailey Fisher Executive Search is pleased to have worked with Grant Instruments to appoint an International Trade Non-Executive Director and a Technical Non-Executive Director.
Grant Instruments is an independent privately owned company, well-established as a global leader in the manufacture and design of equipment for sample preparation, scientific analysis and data acquisition, providing solutions to international scientific and industrial markets.
Iain Hopper, Director of Digital Health & Life Sciences at Bailey Fisher was engaged to manage the searches. The brief for the International Trade role was to identify a seasoned board level executive with knowledge of the challenges presented to an international business; and the ability to support a strategy for further international growth.
The search resulted in the appointment of Mike Evans, who had previously led the growth and successful exit of Oxford Gene Technology to Sysmex, as CEO.
The Technical Non-Exec brief required an individual with senior experience in either life sciences or a medical laboratory environment, combined with the ability to act as the high-level voice of the customer, guiding board colleagues on how users would like Grant to develop their offerings.
The search resulted in the appointment of Chris Lowe, who brings significant sector experience as Senior Technology Officer at the Department of Chemistry, University of Cambridge.❰ Back
