Andrew Moore

Managing Director

Following a management buyout in July 2018, Andrew took on the role of Managing Director, bringing over 20 years’ experience in executive search, including 7 years as a Partner at Bailey Fisher.

Andrew has a wealth of experience working with investors, advisors, entrepreneurs and influencers across the UK’s entrepreneurial growth sector.  Before becoming Managing Director, he headed up Bailey Fisher’s Finance Practice, leading global CFO & FD searches for ambitious VC backed start-ups through to private and publicly owned SMEs hiring talent to fuel growth.  He also built the Industrials Practice, where his clients are typically privately owned, PE backed or AIM listed businesses combining innovative technologies with more traditional skills to increase automation.

As Managing Director, Andrew focuses on C-level and Director level searches in the Industrials sector, as well as strategic CFO roles and Chair/NED appointments across all of Bailey Fisher’s specialist sectors: Technology, Life Sciences & Health Technology, and Industrials.

Andrew hosts Bailey Fisher’s series of Chair Dinners for Chair/NEDs of UK growth companies; Private Markets Dinners for leaders of family-owned businesses and co-hosts a series of Leadership Dinners for Directors of privately owned manufacturing and engineering businesses.

Andrew sits on the judging panel for the Business Weekly Awards, recognising Cambridge innovation and excellence, whose past winners include ARM, Horizon Discovery, Darktrace and Abcam. For 5 years until 2018 he was Co-chair of Byte Night’s East Anglian Fundraising Activities for Action for Children, and remains very involved in the charity’s fundraising activities.

“I would recommend Bailey Fisher unreservedly. Not only did Andrew find a range of high quality individuals that met a challenging brief in a short space of time, his commitment and attention to detail throughout the process was very professional.”
