Sarah McVittie, Co-founder – Dressipi
Serial entreprenuer Sarah McVittie co-founded Texperts, selling in 2009 in a multi-million pound transaction. She is now running her second venture, Dressipi, an innovative online fashion & retail discovery site using technology to raise the bar in consumer services.
Jane was a key member of the leadership team that grew Abcam from a Cambridge University spin out to a team of over 1,000 across the UK, USA & Asia; and led a major cultural change process as site head of the company’s facility in China during 2016.
Following 2 years heading up business development for London & Partners in New York, Pru returned to the UK, where she leads London & Partners’ North America inward investment team supporting & advising US and Canadian companies to set up and grow in London; and UK companies expanding into the North American market.
Ting is a leading expert in doing business in China, with 20+ years’ experience working with clients from tech start ups to FTSE 100 companies and Wall Street institutions. Recently, she co-founded Crayfish International, a software platform for SMEs looking to do business in China.
Mariana is a Director of Darktrace, the world’s leading machine intelligence company for cyber security. Prior to Darktrace, Mariana held executive marketing roles in companies spanning multiple industries, including enterprise software company Autonomy and global FMCG leader Heinz.
Streetbees is a market research platform for global brands, that has expanded to 87 countries in the last year. Tugce is passionate about the power of data and the positive change it can bring to the world. Before founding Streetbees, she spent 6 years advising technology and consumer companies on accelerating growth in international markets.
Jenny has over 20 years’ experience facilitating SME access to investment in the UK & internationally. At UKBAA she focuses on building the angel community around the UK, connecting investors to good deal flow and assisting entrepreneurs to attract investors. Jenny was awarded an OBE in 2015 for services to small businesses.
Nicola leads a team of university specialists covering Mercia’s 19 partnerships. She has a wealth of experience in life sciences and university commercialisation, having founded her own IP commercialisation company, and having spent 10 years as Commercial Director for a University of Leeds spin-out.
